Season 58
The tired faces as we look around the ageing squad at the end of season 57 says it all. Its been a great season but Season 58 is going to be tough. We need a mini rebuild and we need it instantly. There's no breathing room in Division 1. Get it wrong and we will be heading back down the leagues quicker than we wanted. It took seasons-long rebuilding to get us out of a long-term rut to get us up through division 3, 2 and to 1 and its played out well. But we need to keep our few remaining talented stars happy and invest in the futrure all while rebuilding total depth in the squad!
Still heavily reliant on our GKs protecting us enough to grind out some results and still aiming for the consistency we've never managed. To stay in the top flight more than 4 seasons is still the goal!

Always interesting when i come to update this, to see what was happening just half a year ago. Feels like a long time!
Heading into Christmas now before the season gets underway. In real life football, Chelsea have got their swing back which is great to see, im doing terribly in fantasy football & EA FC and barely play at all!
Two Kittens arrived last week, so its going to be a busy festive period and then looking forward to 2025, the winter always drags for me, so the sooner the sun comes back the better!
