    About Hearts

    Season 57 update: July 2024

    What next for HEA?
Sesl cup seems to offer some positive results in recent seasons.
    - in fact, 4 sesl cup finals in the last 6 seasons!
    - 2 sesl cup winners in last 3 seasons!

Starting season 57 as 6th in Top 17 stats.

GK area needs a refresh with an age 6 and 7 GK needing an apprenice added.
DF needs a high SL auction player to add
MF a little light on numbers, 1/19 MF good, and MA 4/28 .
WG need a 2nd WG to try Early Cross.
FW add age 0 FW from auction hopefully, while Shankland 2/26 will get 10CP in first 10 matches.

CP to pick up from auction as usual, as we smash the life out of CP use every season.

Finally, a sad note, Cohen Ramsay shall play a few minutes in S57 then retire after 18 seasons!

     Name:   Cohen Ramsay

    - finally retiring in S57

    Season 56 update: March 2024

Can it get much worse for HEA?
I trust not, as after the decline continued in season 55 it surely inevitable HEA need bounceback.

2nd worse league season out of last 12 since making Division 1.  7th place finish was awful.
Worst Cecil cup display since my records began - played 2 and lost them both.  Out in round 1.
Worst Sesl cup display also - out at Last 32 stage.  Again awful.

GK area needs a refresh with a 6/9 GK not gonna hack it in season 56.
DF i think i need a high SL auction player to add to the back 4
MF a little light on numbers, but MA option good so will survive in short term.
WG area bleak with just a single age 1 WG to use.
FW could do with an age 0 FW from auction while the age 3 and 4 guy hold the fort.

    season 52 then:-

Can it get much better for HEA?
I suspect not, as after the decline in season 50 it was inevitable and one the HEA need bounceback from.
1st place finish in season 51 was a delight.
S51 both cups runners up which is OK I suppose.
    Overall happy with S51

    Season 51 update: May 2022

Can it get much lower for HEA?
I suspect not, and the decline in season 50 was inevitable and one the HEA need bounceback from.
10th place finish was a shocker in S50.

    Season 50 update
Div 1 title in the bag for HEA,  proud.  very proud.
a 4th league titles ahead?   Not a chance.
SRA, CEL & RAN the teams to catch now.
KIL have got back on track in season 49 and may challenge also.

Last 4 in CECIL cup, but sadly knocked out early in SESL cup by the beggars (aka CEL)

Can it get much better for HEA?   I suspect not, and decline will inevitably come soon.
Handful of age 4 players maybe get one more effective season out of them.
Two age 10 players which is kinda cool now as they don't appear to lose an SL being so old, so one age 10 is my Captain.

Enjoying the ride while it lasts

    Season 48 update: March 2021
Need to do more in cups in season 48.
season 47 cecil cup knocked out in round 1 while losing 8 goals is worst cup record in the clubs history.

Div 1 title beyond us now, KIL, DEV & RAN the teams to catch now.   Maybe SRA too on a good day - hi Andrew, I know you are reading ;-)

3 CECIL cup wins in a row was good, but now HEA need do something in SESL cup we last won 20 seasons ago!!

Covid-19 has turned the world upside done, so thank goodness we got online gaming to keep us sane.
Anyone up for a FIFA 21 online challenge?

High hopes for the HEA this season though. Time will tell

    Season 43 update: March 2019
2nd in Div 3 was a great ending to season 42.   Having previously finished dead bottom of all the 48 clubs.
Auction wins seem vital to progress in this league, but bargain prices at auction are a rarity with often 30 teams bidding at most auctions.

Key signing for season 43 will be FAL sending King George III (3/29 FW).   He shall see 10CP rapidily added and could be a match winner all by himself.

Build from the back is what Jose and other dinasour managers like Wenger may say.  Makes some sense though.
HEA have 6 big DF's currently so we shouldn't shift too many goals.

Up front we are 1 big FW away from competing so will be bidding high and often in first few auctions to plug the gap and get the goals flowing.
A higher than average age 0 player at auction is essential and we have the bank account to over bid.

Game on.  The only way is up for HEA.
