Season 57
The real life Cowdenbeath finished midtable in 10th place in season 2023/24. That is their 2nd season in Scotland's 2nd tier now complete. Their Community club work continues to be a positive, a look at their twitter feed sees they are recruiting a football development officer. Nice to see.
SESL
We have made it to Division 1!!!
Season 56 went to plan, automatic promotion was the plan and we achienved that with relative ease. We didn't take many risks and kept our eyes firmly on the prize!
Our aims for this season, simple, stay in division 1 and start to build a war chest. The fundamentals are there in the team. We are 12/16 for T11 and 8/16 for T17. So top 10 will not be easy but certainly doable.
Season 57 update
So this isn't so easy for seson 56 as season 55 was completed in record time. I'm 49, 15.0 handicap, still coaching.... I'll update where I can.
So this bit is all about me....
Age:49
Hobbies: Golf and football. Still coaching my daughters team with training twice a week and a Sunday match. They're about to move onto playing 9s and expecting a difficult few months ahead after a really good run or results at 7s.
Golf Handicap 12, 13 and 12 13. bad season, handicap now back to 16 18.3 17.1 and back down to 16.7. 17. 15.8 15 we'r einto the slowpart of the season now though to be fair it was a slow start due to heavy rain.
I haev a driver and woods fitting in St. Andrews tomorrow, will be intresting to see how these impact my handicap going forward. Initial 'shots' interesting and positive.
