REAL-LIFE : Formed in 1929 formerly known as Dingwall Victor's Ross County Football Club are a Scottish professional football team.
They play their home matches in the North of Scotland at Victoria Park in the Highland town of Dingwall, Ross and Cromarty.Their mascot due to their affiliation with the stag Crest of the Seaforth Highlanders is a stag named Rosco.
Previously coached by Ellis Simpson and had spells in the 1st division in the last 4 seasons albeit dropping down to division 2 each time.
Season 56
Now back in division 3,we have to start the rebuild again as this season will be another long uphill struggle, our starting T11 is 20.8 (14th in division) and our T17 is 17.4 (joint 12th in division)This season Denis Law will Captain the side.Early activity sees us bring in FW Eamon Brophy from St Mirren and SW Ryan Leak from Salford City.We have also brought in experienced FW Liam Boyce from Hearts,DM Ian McCall from Clydebank and Congo international DF Michee Efete from Grimsby Town to supplement the squad. We have also brought in apprentice DF Jack Baldwin from Bristol Rovers who will develop his skills for next season. Well we finished the season with a T11 of 23.6(16th and lowest in division) and a T17 of 21.2 (joint 10th in division),so anywhere in the top 10 is a bonus ,with a young side of 2.60 age in the rebuild. We went out in the 2nd round of the cecil cup to Dumbarton on away goals and the 1st knockout stages in the SESL cup to Stirling. In the league we finished 4th and have promotion (not on our agenda this season as rebuild ongoing),we won 14,drew 6,lost 10,scoring 44 goals and conceding 37 amassing 48 points. Most matches played was Kenneth and Sims with 27 each ,most minutes was McCall with 1847,bad boy with 22 DP's was Ewan, top goalscorer was Law with 12 and MOM's was Laidlaw with 11,another talking point was Brophy who topped the young boot chart with 8,heres looking forward to division 2 next season ,PROMOTION yes we have achieved it
Season 57
We start with the nickname of the club being updated to The Staggies and Denis Law will Captain the side again after the incredible job he did last season,we start with a T11 of 20.1(16th in division) and a T17 of 18.1(15th in division) so a big battle ahead to remain in division 2,we have brought in DM Scott Allardice from Inverness who will develop and bolster up the defence and midfield area. Early transfer activity as we bring in experienced DF Ryan McGowan from STJ to strengthen up the defence. Two additional players added to the squad both from RAN are MF Stephen Kelly and WG Todd Cantwell in our fight for survival. Well the fight ended badly as we finished 16th and bottom of division 2 and are relegated back to division 3.We ended up with a T11 of 24.6(joint 16th in division) and a T17 of 22.o(10th in division) we won 6 ,drew 5,lost 19 scoring 37,conceding 60 ,amassing only 23 points.we exited the cecil cup in the 1st round against Berwick and in the SESL cup got to the semi finals where we were beaten by division 1 side Hamilton. Most matches played was 27 for Victor Loturi, most minutes was 1945 by Michele Efete, bad boy with 32 DP's was Salah, top goalscorer with 8 was Ronan Hale and most MOM's was Logan Ross with 5.
Season 58 updates
Season 58 Update - November 2024
I'm 61 living in West Felton a village just outside Oswestry in Shropshire with my other half Sharon,I have 2 daughters Alix and Beth.I have been a lifelong supporter of Bristol Rovers as I was born down there and went to watch them on a regular occasion and became a Gashead. My local team is TNS in the welsh league who I watch when I can, lovely passing football that has brought them quite a few titles in recent seasons, and they just won this season making it their 16th title and the league cup .
I'm currently working for Village bakery in Coedpoeth .In my spare time I love sea fishing ,coarse fishing ,walking, playing pool and having quality family time with our dog Callie.
I also manage TNS in division 2 of SFLSL and Austin FC in division 2 of OASL and San Antonio Spurs in division 4,so all in all a bit of an addict when it comes to these leagues.
